1975 FJ40 Powered by a 2013 4.5L Cummins / NV4500 / 3 Speed Toyota Transfer case

There has been a lot to this build so for now I'll post photos and down the road I'll fill in a few specs... Currently I am about one week from taking this project on it's first test drive

2nd owner 1975 FJ40:
Engine: 2F
Trans: 4 Speed
OEM PTO winch
Solid stock cruiser

The idea of the cummins conversion was a toy'ed idea at this point. Step one was to make the cruiser handle...
Hydro boost brake booster for the 4 wheel disc brake conversion
rebuild front and rear axles
Tear down time.

Front axle removed, stripped, rebuilt, wilwood disc brake conversion, Skyjacker soft ride 2.5" lift springs, and some other crap...

New brake lines, Procomp ES3000 shocks, steel braided flex brake lines, and new u-bolts (Of course)
I have yet to see a straight OEM tierod bar so as a rule of thumb for me I either replace them with heavier DOM bars or sleeve them like I did here.
New tie rod and drag link ends.
Power steering pump retro fitted to the 2F... For now

Rear axle time:
Rear axle removed, stripped, rebuilt, and GM disc brakes installed.
Skyjacker soft ride 2.5" lift springs, Procomp ES3000 shocks, new brake lines and phase 1 is done...

The cruiser was delivered and driven for a good 2-3 months when the decision was made to move forward on the cummins conversion..
