I use Toyodiy to get part numbers and then I shop around for prices, usually I use Amayama to supply the parts as they are frequently cheaper than Toyota and are supplying genuine Toyota parts.
Personally when it comes to pistons and rings I would not go after market if I could get genuine and I was keeping the engine standard.
On post 62 is a link to eBay Pistons of pretty good quality that the OP used successfully. IIRC they were fitted with steel lands so stronger than OEM, like the marine versions it would appear.

Genuine Toyota parts are probably made throughout the world now especially with so much damage in Japan. To their spec yes but just the location per se would not put me off.
I just get the motor. Head+turbo was fixt.I think it was almoust 600.000 KM.
I will make the rest job on engine .And then put it in my car HDJ 80 1991 1HD-T and 670.000 KM
