1KZ-TE repair or replace?

Well, unfortunately I've blown a head gasket on the old girl and I suppose at 231k miles its not bad. There is also some damage to the pistons looks like a ball bearing been dropped in! Question is do I get it repaired or replaced? Been off the road over a month now and getting frustrated so have to bite the bullet one way or another. If anyone has a good engine (1KZ-TE 3L Automatic transmission) laying around or a good market resource. Cheers

Seems to me engines are outlasting frames and somebody on here just bought a whole truck for £1800 .

Way prices are going and because the 90 really doesn't have any competitors, I'd take a long hard look at what you got while wondering what it could be if you had a donor vehicle .
