230v to 12v at home

There is a bunch of kit bought to be used on the road, in the lanes and at campsites. Now I want to use it at home, and don't really want to get a battery out, connect to a charger or use solar to keep it topped up.

There are a few mains to 12v adapters, just looking for recommended options that club members have used in the past/present.

Looking to peak at 15 amp@12v
 
Many server PSUs are easily capable of 80A to 100A at 12V. A cheap source in terms of $/A but do require a bit of hacking, most of the big brands will be documented online and require a pin or 2 to be sorted or joined by a resistor. Worth checking this before a purchase though.
 
Your spoilt for choice really with PSU’s for Ham radio use. The cheapest are the switch mode type but perfectly adequate. Linear PSU’s are favoured by purists but they‘re usually bigger, heavier and more expensive.
