80 prices in Germany

saw a lovely 12v in the French Alps last week, very tidy white one, really well kitted out for overland, internal roll cage, hot n cold water, large RTT, engel fridge, tidy storage system. He'd only had it 3 months, had 300k km on, only paid 14k Euro with all the kit included

he mite show up on the forum, was asking about the gullwings on mine Rich, very impressed!

That looks very nice. Do you know which country he found it in ?

That looks smart Pete, as you say looks to be in really good nick. I've still got one set of gullwings left. Looks like I need to get my skates on and modify the design for Mark 2's. :)

Those prices for the German ones are pretty strong for such high milers, still, we know they do the miles, if they're rot free then the rest is just cash and Spanners. :)

he did mention the area he got it from but I can't remember, pretty sure it was France. One of our lads offered him 15k euros there and then but he wasn't having it

2 years ago I was offered £9k for my 80 from someone who wanted to export it and he seemed quite genuine. I think the UK is one of the weaker markets for the 80 series despite the occasional ridiculous prices asked by traders. JMO
