I have been offered a 80 i said i would put up on here if people are interested.

I has just driven 2hrs on the motorway but looks like a fusable link may have popped investgation and fixed before sale. I cant comment on what works or not as i havent tried20220326_093249.jpg20220326_093302.jpg20220326_093235.jpg20220326_093313.jpg20220326_093319.jpg20220326_093331.jpg20220326_093338.jpg20220326_093350.jpg20220326_093426.jpg20220326_093435.jpg20220326_093439.jpg20220326_093445.jpg20220326_093600.jpg20220326_093603.jpg20220326_093634.jpg20220326_093656.jpg20220326_093701.jpg

It clearly has had alot of time and money spent on it in the past i can get more info for genuine interest.

Happy to talk through witb people

Price is £10k ono. Now i am sure some wiggle room and would be keen to here how others would value it but off line. Again this isnt mine so please keep comments about price via pm

A bit of elbow grease should make a good truck of it. Plenty of goodies on there. Now if I'd got my house built..........!!!!

Nice looking truck, the sill on the drivers side looks like an old damage scar, but the rust looks to have gone in a lot further than the outer section.

I repaired the body mount on mine behind what you see in the pic and I can say it's a very hard repair to undertake.

If anyone is interested have a good look at the body mount behind the rust hole in the outer sill.

Your right the damage had some filler in it also.

This guy is off his trolley but it would be a shame to see that truck go to a breaker so

@stumog Hi Stu, I did show it to a mate who's looking for an 80.... and initially he said he might be interested.
But unfortunately he's now decided against it.... he said if those goodies hadn't all needed blasting and powder coating again, he would've come and had a look to see the full extent of the bodywork repair needed.
It's such a shame it's been left standing for so long, but if he changes his mind, I did say, I think it might be in Wales, but is that right?
Cheers.

Yes it is the rear quarter. One side definatly needs a repair and the other side feels like it needs a repair

Thanks Stu,
Also, I did say to him, it would probably be a fair trek, as I thought it would Wales way. Is that the area if he wanted to view?
Cheers

I think anyone wishing to put a bit of effort into this could end up with a decent truck. It's got lots of expensive goodies on it already and let's be fair, most of the shiny 10/12 k ones advertised need work to rear cills and quarters anyway. At least this has been loved in the past and it's there for all to see warts an all. Its dirty but honest. Deal a little on the price spend a little and you have a well spaced low miles 24v . Just my Penny's worth.

That interior would scrub up like new with the right products and a few hours effort . It's all there just needs some time invested .
