80 series auto surging

I have an 80 series turbo diesel auto transmission that is surging when I drive it. The transmission mechanic said that the trains mission checks out ok. I have been told that maybe it is a fuel system issue! Any thoughts? Thanks

Hi Barry, welcome to the club. You clearly need some assistance with your 80 so you've come to the right place, except this bit is a chance to say Hi, Hello, Ola, G'day even, and to tell us a bit about you and your truck.

Then when you've done that, you'll find there's an 80 series section. Post this on there and with the two posts separated that way you should get a response pretty quickly.

It sounds like an annoying problem you have there, but I'm afraid as a manual owner, I can't help.

As Richard said, let's have a bit about you and your truck here, then start a new thread regarding your problem.

Loads of auto info to be had here and plenty of experts on the engine, so I'd be surprised if someone can't help.
