So I’ve got near the end of my landcruiser project but I’ve ran into an issue. I have a 1hd-t manual. The turbo have been reconditioned and the injectors rebuilt. It ran and drove fine before I started the project.

It now won’t rev past 2000rpm when driving, I bought a modified boost compensator pin and thought this was the issue but I fitted the standard one back in and it’s the same.

It always starts and sounds good when revving up as I said it dies under load before 2000rpm.

Does anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks

As Karl says.... If you have already got your rear seats out, Its an easy fix....... That blocked sock filter in the Tank has caused many a headache ..... Good luck

Learnt something there. I did not know about the filter on the fuel pick up.

I needed to purchase a new level indicator for the tank, it came with the pickup pipe but no sock. its an easy clean job though.

Another vote for the pickup.
I had to buy a new sender as it was in a right state.
