80s for sale in Japan

I would love to import one of those 80s. Does anyone know of a reputable importer that would help me find and import one? I did try communicating with several importers before but was left unimpressed and didn't pursue.

Is it my maths, or are they expensive?

On those sites I saw prices of 1,000,000 to 2,230,000 Yen, which I believe to be £6,000 to £13,000.

Thats without taxes and freight?

£6k + import duty + VAT is just under £8K. Shipping from the US is around £2k but probably more than that from Japan so min £10k. Just not worth it IMO.

You could try speaking to Jurgen at www.jm-imports.co.uk he is on www.mkivsupra.net and has
a very good rep with importing from Japan.

I've not used him just going on what i've read on there etc

I used to import Surfs from Japan, and still have contacts out there, but looking at those prices I wouldn't bother, that's why I stopped importing.
