Well I was wondering why things got awfully quiet at the 'other' forum... only realised the existence of this forum today! I am amazed at the amount of content that is on here in such a short time. I hope the two forums can co-exist in peace...
Anyway I never really did an intro post before so thought I would do one now:
Your name: Kevin Pringle
Your Cruiser: 90 Series Colorado LWB 3.0TD KZTE. Working rear difflock
Mods on your Cruiser: Only minor things like a roof rack, A-bar and spots.
Plans for your Cruiser: Plan is to drive it down west coast of Africa to SA...So I will be putting on some decent tyres, sorting out the suspension and thats about it. If I had more money I would be planning alot more.
4x4 Experience: Slim to none
Other info: Well I'm yet another South African living in the UK But I have decided to return home in a years time. I've had my fill, and will miss the UK, but theres no place like home. I decided it would be more fun to drive back than flying and shipping the LC. Going the west coast route seems to be potentially more difficult but I reckon it will be way more interesting.
Heres a few pics of my 90:
Added a roof rack:
got an A-bar and spots from a fellow member of ...dare I say it.... TLOCUK... I wired up the Spots recently:
Took a trip to Scotland recently. Beautiful place!
