‘94 Landcruiser mystery

Randomly my cruiser experiences the engine jumping like it is being turned off and on. Like an ignition issue. Had entire distributor and spark plug wires replaced. Someone suggested a short or something associated with the wiring harness. Suggestions?

Water in petrol tank does that , though i only ever experienced it on a bike .

@Shayne yes had the same on a bike from leakage around the cap. At least its easier to see into and access a bike tank. We'll, it is on my old thing!

Blocked/old fuel filter.

Expect a blocked fuel filter if you put the wynns stuff in your tank it turns the water to jelly so it can't reach the engine .

Is it a bit like cracking an egg into the radiator for a leak i.e. It'll get you home but expect to replace some components/parts

Not on this occasion Mick fuel has a filter for a reason but it can't stop water so the wynns turns water into something it can stop ..
