Garage
Hey guys,

Having a slight problem with the new cruisers a/c. I jus got it filled with gas about 2 weeks back as it was not really cooling and at the garage i was told that the gas was almost out.
Today I had the same problem, no idea what it could be.
Any suggestions or does anyone know of a good person to take the car to for a/c issues?

Cheers

Did they do a leak test before refilling?

If the A/C is out of gas is has to have leaked out somewhere so always worth getting a leak test done as part of the regas - they pressurise the system with a dye and can then check all the joints for leaks.

Hey julian,

I doubt very much that a leak test was done..
Any idea who would be a good mec to sort this out. Should i go to toyota themselves or.......
I am around milton keynes.
Cheers

I would hunt around for a 3rd party aircon specialists. A lot of garages have the kit and will occasionally use it whereas a specialist is doing it day in and day out so should hopefully do a better job.

I have used this chap a few times, not particularly cheap (£75 for a re-gas, lube and leak test) but he knows his business and he operates a mobile service, 50 mile radius from Elstead Surrey, but I have been down to his house a couple of times too.
