The ELCO list has been very quiet over the past few months.

Hi Julian and All,
I'm actually quite happy with the mailing list as it. In a online world
full of Forums, of which I'm a member of many, the list provides a
useful source of information with very little distracting "junk" and
"chat". Most mail is relevant with real world problems and solutions to
topics which a very easy to find in the inbox. It also comes
automatically to you and often brings by chance a solution or clever
idea that I would probably would have never bothered to login to a forum
for.
I'm not against forums as I use them everyday and I know they have many
benefits, I just like the list. I appreciate that you may not have the
time to administer it or a forum anymore Julian and it may have to
move. Well done and thank you for all the work you've put -in to
keeping it going over the years
Best regards

Hi Mark and all,
I'm quite happy with the mailing list as it is too, as Mark says, often things
will pop up that I wouldn't make a conscious effort to search for, I have
folders saving a lot of info from the mailing list which I can refer back too
without having to search a forum for. As a lot of people have said Julian does
a tremendous job looking after the list and providing encyclopaedic knowledge
for all things appertaining to Landcruisers.
