We are getting there - Dennis is swapping accounts to get rid of the
disclaimer.
I am redeveloping my web based forum software and have managed to get
a client to pay for it. I am adding the functionality so that users
can either post/read messages via the web or via email as with a
mailing list.
It will have all the functionality of web forum and a mailing list
combined, as well as added facilities for:
Stripping out html versions of messages
Creating a file archive for attachments so they aren't sent out to the
list.
A decent searchable archive.
User profiles on the website for new members that have missed the
intros posted by others.
I can also add in filters to strip out unnecessary footers for
individuals that have no control over them (like Dennis).
Should be fun!
