[ADMIN] Salisbury Plain Weekend - cancelled/moved

Hi,
Unfortunately the we are going to have to cancel or re-arrange the
Salisbury plain weekend - the TA are out playing that weekend
(24th/25th).
I know the Surf club are organising a meeting on the plain for the
first weekend in May so it could be re-arranged for then.
Or if someone else has the time, it could be re-arranged for some time
in April, but I will be away so someone else will need to organise it.
If you have the time to organise it, please give me a call on my mobile
and I can get the website side of things organised before I leave.
The key thing on the planning is checking the dates with the MOD,
checking the Bustard and then organising the groups on the day - I can
sort out the registration side of things on the website.

What a shame, I was really looking forward to that, I work every other
week-end and this was my week-end off, very convenient, the first week-end
in May, Sunday the 6th, will also be my week-end off, so please, please
don't change it!

Hi Chas,
At the moment I can't promise anything - I would prefer to have the day run
some time in April whilst I am away - I will struggle to get back in time for
the 6th May so would prefer someone else to organise it than instead, but so
far no takers ;-(

Chas,
How about a club meet you once proposed somewhere in Twickenham?
We could avoid the boring drive around the plains and get straight
down to the business, which is drinking beer and talking about
landcruisers. Well, maybe non-alc beer ....
