Hi Tomas
Am enjoying seeing your images, but some of your pictures of Tam and Ahoggar
didn't show up (a little red cross in the top left hand corner of the image
box), I'd like to be able to see them so can you maybe redo them for me?
Cheers

Hello Tomaz,
Nice writeup. I am hoping to be there too in the near future, too,
only planning that after Reganne we will take a piste south-east (at
Auolef) to reach I-n-Guezzam via Tanezrouft.
A quick questions, please: going south of Tam, where exactly did you
turn east towards Djanet. From your map it looks you did not reach
I-n-Guezzam. Do you have a list of track points for your route?

Hi Roman,
the news from the region are quite bad. According to latest info even
the pistes we did between Tam and Djanet is closed. Check the HUBB forum:
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/sahara-travel-forum/news-from-algeria-and-chad-32986
As far as I know now all the southern border pistes are closed. Southern
from Reganne you are allowed to drive only with gendarmerie escort. Of
course if your guide will not check you in at the Reganne gendarmerie
station thats another story but there are some check points even on the
piste to Bordj El Mokhtar.
Regarding our route: initially we wanted to do the southern piste (A14)
via Erg Killian from Criss Scott book but it turned out that it is
closed. So we followed the A14 piste till tassili du hoggar and then we
went north east instead of south east. We went almost in "straight line"
to Erg Admer close to Djanet. We needed three days to reach Djanet from
Tam. The length of the piste is around 800 km and is really nice
especially crossing of Erg Admer.
I have GPS track of the entire piste so if you need them let me know.
Regards,
Tom

always there)... but anyway the photos are available also in the gallery
