Hello yes another rim question on the HZJ75 Troop carrier

I am currently running stock 16x5.50 split rims on my troopy
I would like to run 16x6 Hilux rims similar to the ones attached. I want to paint them grey to mimic the look of the new steel rims on current model cruisers

Issues I am having are finding the rim offset of the current splittys to compare to the hilux/fortuner rims

An American forum shows people doing a similar conversion but using wheel spacers which is something I won't want to do

any info would be much appreciated even a blunt NO IT WON'T WORK

Cheers

Offset on anything IFS Toyota is normally in the region of +30 or higher; the HZJ75 will be a bit lower.

Spacers aren't legal in Australia.

To keep running 235/85R16s the easiest is to find a set of wheels off a 60 series or a 70series that didn't have split rims.

Offsets can be found in the NSW RVD list : Road Vehicle Descriptor System - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club]

https://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/rvd-pre1999/data/pdf/11924.pdf (HZJ75)

Road Vehicle Descriptor Online - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club] (HZJ78, search the post 1999 option and use "Cruiser" as the variety, and then down the bottom of the list or 5432 as the CPA) and that gives us +20 as the offset on the 2000 onwards Troopy.
