Another laning day?

I'm thinking of organising another green laning day later this year before
the RUPPs finally close in Wales. End of this month or early November.
I'm thinking maybe Strata Florida area. Strata Florida (West Wales) is a
fantastic and long lane with many water crossings, although they can get
quite deep after very wet weather so we'll have to plan accordingly nearer
the time. Lots of other lanes in the area at the moment. The trip will not
be as dramatic as last Sunday in terms of the terrain but the scenery in the
area is, if anything even more stunning.
As the days are getting short it will mean an early start and a
correspondingly early finish. I would aim to meet at Brecon around 8 a.m.
The trip will be limited to 6 vehicles (me + five others).
Who would, in principle, be up for it?

We would not seek a battle as we are, yet as we are, we say we will not shun
it.

Hi Pete
We are a possibility for either Saturday.
I am sad we missed the last one, so I am keen to do this one. It will
also be a good test for the new suspension, etc that I have just added
to the vehicle.
So keep us posted

Not sure what happened but the post about the potential dates hasn't
appeared back here although Graham has obviously seen it.
In case anyone else doesn't have it I'm suggesting possibly either 28th Oct
or 4th Nov.
Can I have a show of hands please.

Moi?
I thought I broke the beast last weekend, went to a friends and found
something very definitely was amiss - a caught bit making a not very nice
scraping noise - turned out (as it was dark, and I couldn't see anything) it
was a piece of the passenger side plastic covered metal bit on what is the
remnant of the step that was there had fallen and was caught up with the
tyre...
Must say I felt a right twit when the garage mechanic pointed out (on my
mucky beast) the problem - and I was surrounded by oogling young mechanics
(about 4 of them)...
embarassment is not the word to explain what I felt that day!
Cheers me ol matey

If you can see this....
There are still one, or maybe two places left for the Strata Florida run
this Saturday.
This run will not be overly challenging nor damaging but will involve lots
of water crossings and stunning scenery.
If you would like to come along please visit:

The trip is limited to me + five others

Sorry Pete, can't make this one as I will be in Canada. Bit of a pity
as SF is a lane that I would like to do and have missed out on before.
Regards, Clive.

Hi Pete,
How went the day?
