Any Australian Elco'ers?

Hi guys,
I know there are a couple of elco people on the list from Australia so
just wondering if any of you are from the Sydney area. Our LC80 is
coming off the boat in a few days into Sydney and we have a few things
we'd like to get done to it including fixing the centre diff lock that
seems to have stopped working during our drive from London. Thought it
might be better to take it to a 4wd place as I don't know if a
regular/small garage would know what they are doing.
So, any Sydney-siders on this list? Anyone know a decent garage to
take our car to in either Sydney, or SA as we'll be driving that way
back towards WA.
Cheers guys,
Duncan.

Hi Duncan,
I owned a cruiser out there and i found it best to go to a 4x4
specialist, like an ARB supplier or TJM,who have megastores in many
locations in NSW. Dont just go to a standard garge, found that out to
my cost in Sydney, and got totally ripped off!!
If you need any more help i can go thru my Australian 4wd monthly
mags. One name that comes to mind is Mannell motors who seem big on
the comp scene.
Hugely envious of your trip, hope you are having a great time. Dont
miss out the Flinders Ranges and Arkaroola in SA.
Cheers,Tony.

In Sydney, I would speak with Dave Dennis at Traction 4 see if they can help
you, Cruiser experts.
They are just off one of the main freeways out of Sydney at Artarman.

Cheers for the help guys. I'll give these few suggested guys a call
when we know a specific date the truck will clear customs and see who
can fit us in the quickest.
Cheers,
Duncan.

Organise an aprox date early, I would suspect most will be booked to xmas
almost currently, and 2-3 weeks in advance normally.

If you need a few more to call, i found an article in a mag with
recommended 4x4 service centres around oz, and there are quite a few
around NSW.
Cheers,Tony.
