AUTOMATIC GEARBOX OIL LEVEL TOO HIGH

Hi,

Just checked the gear oil level, its gone way past the hot mark, this was checked when the vehicle was cold, (in the morning before starting).

Am I right in thinking that (the last service check done by Toyota in Edgeware) they have over filled the gearbox?

Is it risky to the gearbox and its seals when this happens?

Has to be checked with engine running.
And best when at normal operating temperature, like after a long drive.
