Has anyone had a problem with the threads holding the timing belt tensioner pulley? How did you fix it. 3.0 L year 2000 turbo diesel LWB with 300,000 miles on the clock. It's possible that this has had 4 or 5 new timing belts in it's life. Can a part be replaced or can the hole be drilled out and re-threaded with a tap? It's aluminum.
