Brake master cylinder

Hi need help brakes have gone completely now master cylinder is knakered does any one know what other model master cylinder fits a k reg lj70
what about kzj70 one looks the same.. Surely ital be the same??

The lj70's master cylinder has 7 / 8 diameter stamped on the side and the earlier import and later kzj70 etc with the bigger brakes has 15/16 stamped on it. I don't think the 80 series one would fit. As a replacement you can fit a hilux surf master cylinder. . Hope this helps

Iwan master cylinder is a lot different to mine starting to think it wasn't Evan the one for it as the brakes have always been terrible but now they brilliant thanks Iwan

I have a BJ74 and just put a 1990-92 80 series brake master cylinder in... I just had to make a special bracket to hold the heat shield but otherwise it fit perfect. It also sets me up better for rear disc in the future.
