Bull bars on or off..?

Landrover still fit foam ones to new vehicles and you can still fit a steel winch bumper to a new vehicle , as long as it has a winch , because when it houses a winch it becomes a utility bumper and so is exempt from the very law that bans them

ARB, it's similar, but a bit more subtle than the one on your truck, IMO.

This one on mine has been badly modified (but it's not so notable in the picture) so ignore the mods at the bottom...

Kaymart and TJM also do nice bumpers, but either will cost you kidney (especially ARB) unless you can find a decent one second-hand.

Des, bull bars like clives are the proper job, they were originally designed so when you hit a kangaroo theres less chance of writing off your car. Infact there also refered to as roo bars in aus.

they are also usefull for ram raiding toyota dealerships..

a lot of uk offerings are for show or hanging spot lights off.

As CG says, in Aus they're known as roo bars, or just bars.

This one has done 2 roo/wallaby strikes, one at 50km/h the other 80 (and accelerating). First one went straight under (only a ~25kg wallaby), the 2nd (50kg ish roo) hit the front left corner, and ended up on the opposite side of the road.

No damage from either.
