Hi
I realise you are interested in building your own camping trailers, good
luck with it. I wish I had access to a decent workshop
and the welding skills required....
To help with ideas here is a set of links to all the professionals (in
South Africa) who build various forms and qualities of camping trailer:
http://www.afrispoortrailers.co.za/site/
http://www.challengertrailers.co.za/
http://www.bushwakka.co.za/
http://www.ventertrailers.co.za/trailers.htm and then click on 4x4
http://www.desert-wolf.co.za/
http://www.echo4x4.co.za/offroaders.htm
http://www.jurgenssafari.co.za/default.htm
http://www.buzzardindustries.co.za/
http://www.bundutrailers.co.za/
http://www.bushmantrailers.com/
http://www.brakhah.co.za/Trailers/trailers_main.htm
http://www.conqueror.co.za/conqueror_flash.htm
The cheapest of these will be in the region of ?1500 while the most
expensive should blow a ?20 000 hole in your wallet.
Second hand you should be able to import one ( low quality) for as low
as ?1500 (including shipping).
Hope this gives you some ideas.
Graham.
