Mornin' all.
Some while ago some contributors discussed low-cost ferry crossings to
France. I now need that information and guess what, I can't find it!! :-(
Could some kind soul post the details again.
I "think" it was Harwich - Dunkirk or some similar obscure route but
whatever it was really cheap.
Many thanks guys and gals.

How long do you want to spend on the continent ? The 2-day return from
eurotunnel is quite unbeatable for short stays in terms of price and
speed :o)

I can suggest
http://www.aferryto.com/ there you can compare easily all the alternatives.
Although you have to book in advance to get those kind of prices. I
didn't cause I wasn't sure of my schedules. Buying on spot the
cheapest I got in August Dover-Calais was 70 pounds one way in the
SeaFrance Ferry. That day and hour Eurotunel was 130 and another ferry
company was 90 pound.

Hi Dennis
Thanks for the reply.
Both short (i.e. same day / weekend) trips and longer (2 week +) trips.
Cannot use Eurotunnel because of their STUPID rule of not allowing LPG
powered vehicles!!!!!!
