I just thought I would mention to all 120 owners to have a look under the plastic trim that holds the rear carpet down. My boot floor underneath is pretty much like new and a tiny bit of rust around bolts and rubber grommet holes but pretty much mint. I was renewing my rear door seal and noticed a tiny hole in the edge near the seal so started stabbing it with my screwdriver and made a few more holes.
My point is my 120 looks pretty good underneath and I would never have thought there would be rust in the floor. I have welded a new section along the back now and it was nice to see inside the rear crossmember and to see no internal rust at all inside.
My 120 compared to photos of 120's in the U.K isn't very rusty at all and I think this maybe that on the island here we don't really use much in the way of salt on the roads when it snows.
Hope this helps others..

Several 120 owners have found that Bones. As you have found out, it's an area that doesn't get looked at because it's covered.
