colorado brake booster

hi all,

does anyone know the price of a brake booster for the colorado ?

does anyone know if they are available outside of the main dealer ?

i am told i need one and worry it is not going to be cheap.

Do you mean the complete servo unit ??

The indicative pricing on the Toyota parts list is (was?) around 300 euros.

Its probably available cheaper from someone like Pentland Components (Sighthill Industrial Estate).

Or, try Karl for a second hand unit.

FECK ME , just got a price on a brake servo from toyota for the colorado, are we sitting down !

£875 + vat

help it must be avialable some where else for a sensible price.

any good second hand ones available out there ?

hi, the only number i can see is

44610-AA030 OR 44610-4A030 , it is hard to read
under it is 8A0 339

not sure if this is the correct number, does it sound correct ?

44610-4A030 is a valid part number and is fitted to some models of Colorado. I'll see if I can get you a price but if I can get one it's likely to be about half the dealer price which is still a lot of money. Are there no cheaper aftermarket versions or second hand ones available?

my mechanic friend says its most likely a dealer only part, so highly unlikely to be avialable else where, unless any knows better ?
