Complete Brake Failure!!

Cheers lads

I'll be popping to see Trev & Ed soon to do my handbrake/dogbones (amogst other things) we'll have a measure up & see what's what then, change the fluid so I know where I'm up to too. I'm off to Wales next month so want the truck in top form.

Yes in extreme situations you can get "pedal to the floor" in a perfect braking system due to overheating as the brake fluid boils. When it cools down it returns to liquid and the brakes are OK. Happens easier with water in the fluid though. I did not equate this failure though in a Landcruiser but more in a racing car :icon-biggrin:.

20 minutes from me and really useful for going in with a huge shopping list for bits of brass, steel, nuts and bolts, rubber grommets etc etc. Also going round the back door and asking the foreman to press or do plating for you for a fiver. Having said that a lot of the old places I used to visit in the 70/80's have gone.
