Correct Diesel Engine oil Help

Hello everyone

I have a 90 series prado with a 3L tdi 1kz engine
And im very near to 400k
I wanted to know what is the best engine oil for this high milage engine

I have the KD engine, which specs 5w, but I've been using 10w/40 in it for 12 years since the miles started creeping up. 376,000 on it now and purring away. You'll have different opinions, I've always been taught that a slightly more viscous oil on a high miler is not a bad idea, but I'm not a mechanical engineer. So no quoting me
