Hi Julian
Today was going to be spent with Mik in Mayo working on my CV joint. Well
that was the plan at least untill we had a case of my bad luck and guess
what. Yes your right the CV is knackered as is the Drive plate. The splines
on both have just about had it, loads of bits of metal to be seen every
where and no sigh of any grease any where on the outer bit of the CV. We
did'nt go any futher as there was no point.
Heres the question that i know you have the answer to. Is there is a little
c clip at the end of the drive shaf, and if so do you really need it and can
you explain how to replace it . I know there are three bits to the question
but its still only one question. So now I have to get this done pronto. Ill
sourse the bits from Milner tomorrow morning I think, if there delivery time
to me is not too long, I reakon they will be cheaper than Toyota by a mile.
Thanks again
