David Southern California headed to spain.....looking for hints

Ok, as title says, my wife and I are visiting spain next month (april '23) for 3 weeks.

We are cruiser heads (1987 60 series/2004 uzj 100) and active in our local club. Runs about 1x/m.

I did some perlim research about renting a camped out troopy....no dice.

Sooooo, looking for related things to see/do in spain. I'm already planning of visiting the Gibraltar LC dealer for a look as they seem to have a corner on the troopy market there.

Any spain club contacts would also be appreciated.

The Troopies are a pretty rare thing in Europe, there were a couple as rentals in the UK (don’t think they are still there) but don’t know about the rest of Europe, maybe Germany.

TGS in Gib don’t sell to the public so not sure you’ll be allowed to visit, pretty much a closed shop operation. If you do post up some pictures!

Gr8Yota is right about TGS unless you happen to be an official of a NGO or the UN. The trucks they prepare are not for Europe.

We live in southern Spain in the foothills of the eastern Sierra Nevada and would be happy to assist.
Rental companies do rent 4x4s but do not permit off roading.
