Drivers door window glass

Hello all
I went to the car on Saturday morning only to find the driver's door glass
had been broken. Luckily there was tinted film on the inside of the glass -
fitted by some previous owner in Japan - so the glass was still intact.
Anyway, Autoglass have just been round and replaced the glass but it looks
like the glass carrier/scissor mechanism inside the door is bent slightly.
Probably happened as a result of the impact in trying to break the glass.
Anyone any idea where I might find a replacement... Scrap dealer might be an
option I suppose but any ideas welcome. I've tried to bend it back but it is
impossible to do without affecting another section of the frame.
Thanks
Jeremy

Jeremy,
The whole mechanism can be removed from the door to make reshaping
easier - it's only a couple of bolts. Before doing so, just try to
remember how it was fitted to save the time. I understand the metal
bottom edge holding the glass is OK.

The metal bottom edge looks fine - a bit of muck and corrosion in there but
all cleaned out now. I've put it all back together as I'm going out but I'll
tackle it another day. Its also bloody cold out there...
The window is moving up and down but there is a click and a thunk where it
is catching and I can see it moving with the door panel off. As I'm in a bit
of a hurry I havent yet located the bolts that hold it in place...
Thanks for the reply.
