Btw, to my pleasant surprise, I noticed that at least part of the
product range is now easier available in Europe, under a new name,
Bearlock, at least in Holland/Belgium/Germany (http://www.bearlock.nl
& .de & .be) ....but sadly only in Europe, Bearlock-USA seems to
carry different locks, not even showing pix
(http://www.bearlock.com).
Will contact them, and see if something shifted worldwide now, and
whether the old 'padlock' type of gearstick-locks can still be had
through them as well (requires a lot more custom-fabrication than
what now seems to be console-typical mass-products for modern
vehicles (but at least that includes later Cruisers, and since those
are typically automatic in the USA anyway (and since automatics don't
take the padlock-type easily anway).
