I have just seen a report of protests in Tahirrir Square Cairo again....................
I drove through Tahirris this morning about 9.15, and only a few people about, spent the day just 'over the river' from the square & am now sat about a mile from it.
No sign of any problems, although I am not actually in the square!!!
Life as usual here, chaotic traffic etc (great fun !!) but diesel is in short supply with most of the fuel stations empty, petrol ok though.
We got diesel from a friend who hid some away at his work & we collected at 2am!
Will get more when heading out of Cairo towards the desert where after a phone call or 2 some has been 'reserved' for us
