Thought I'd start a little thread on Fiery as my Sister will hopefully be sending back some photos of the truck in Switzerland. I've been doing various jobs on it before it goes away.

Just had all the plastics painted which came back yesterday.

It's very easy to spend Sis's dosh , this was done for £160 which I think was reasonably reasonable.

Yes very reasonable. I need to get my front bumper re sprayed after i forgot about a metal box in an Austrian carpark. so if its this sort of money i will get i done.

Definitely shop around, I had some wildly differing prices thrown at me before having a chance conversation in the pub, member of staff, their other half did it as a weekend foreigner.

That rear bumper was already pretty poor when I bought her as shed been used for horse box towing and the Previouse owner had used it to judge how close she was to the horse box!!!!

I shouldn't think that plastics looked so well since she left the factory!

have you had any luck with the mud flaps yet Trev'?

Had to bite the bullet and get 2 from Toyota but Simon did what he could and sharpened his pencil a bit, still pricey though.

Fitted a DAB stereo.





And the new mudflaps



Chose the location for the solar regulator.



Fitted the seat covers





Finally drove down to London today and handed the truck over to Sis.









So my work is done, now look forward to some action shots soon from Europe.

im sat on the edge of Roberts bed with him showing some Mine-craft madness and he's just said that he misses Fiery a lot, but Trevor's made her look like new Awwwwgh

Bless the little Fella, praise indeed. Sis goes AWOL in a couple of weeks with Fiery. Something strange about working on a vehicle, you bond with it somehow.

I had a pang handing the keys over today but safe in the knowledge it's in the family and I'll see it again in 12 months to prep it for sale (or maybe swap some bits over from Lil' Blue....cunning plan but not Wife approved......yet)

I play a game with the kids called DragonVale and one of the dragons is called a BlueFire Dragon

Last Friday Fiery took the journey to Switzerland via the Eurotunnel



And has now arrived
