Fixing idle drop/stalling when facing uphill

I have just replaced (last few months) my Governor gasket due to a fuel leak...

So as I had all these parts out, I could have replaced them then at a few quid...

Anyway, I can confirm this is doable and could take an hour or more (iirc I took around 2-3hrs with a few Tea/'thought' breaks).

Definitely a little fiddly getting the springs all hooked up again as access is limited.

I won't be rushing back in to do mine - not sure i've forgiven her enough yet! :hand:

Looks like this would be a PITA job on the 24v, due to the lack of access and the pump seems far more complicated. Also it seems the parts are more expensive as you need to buy the whole speed control shaft sub-assembly 22302?17840 to replace the spring :(

Interesting solution though.

I just pull the hand throttle out a little bit.

So do I but its a bit more of a pain when you have a hydraulic winch and you have a manual...
