Fj60 /hj60 1984 Front Brake caliper pistons

Hello ,

Am looking for front brake caliper pistons for my Hj60 1984 .Unfortunately as the story goes orignal ones are damn expensive there are other aftermarket calipers that are reasonably priced but am looking for the front brake caliper pistons .does anyone here know if the small and large pistons in the brake caliper could be switched out with something that is more readily available across the world ?

Hello Abdul,

While appreciating that you are on the other side of the world but www.euro4x4parts.com do a caliper rebuild kit which includes the pistons and all the seals for 60 euros and they do export all over the world. Obviously there would be shipping and, I assume, import duties, to add.

Unfortunately I do not know of any other vehicle parts that would fit as I, many moons ago, ceased to use anything but Mr T parts unless they are no longer available and then I would only model specific aftermarket parts from an established source of good repute.

The piston sizes are 34mm and 43mm
