Grinding noise / feel full lock reverse

I have a grinding noise and feeling from that passenger front when on full lock in reverse. Not present (or very slight) the rest of the time.
Any ideas what to check?

Not sure if it will be your problem, but mine did it in full lock forward last time, and I grease the steel stoppers on both sides - see blue circle below. This is looking towards the front of the car at the driver side tie rod.

Its a metal to metal stops at full lock - there is another metal face not shown in the photo below. You will get it when you poke your head under the car.

I had a grinding noise when I fitted new aftermarket front brake disc splash guards, I had to bend them a little to give more clearance even though the clearance seemed ok when spinning the disc by hand. Only happened on full lock and on a bit of a slope or fall.
