Well other than the archery, it's been a bit dull, so at knock off, I ventured into the Man-cave with the express purpose of entertaining you all.

So what is Chris up to now?

(No prizes, it's just for fun and if you vote after the lines have closed you'll look a right dummy, charges may apply, calls from a phone are quite normal)

A lathe, a hose pipe.... and a fork stanchion from a motor bike

Table leg????? Damn, I hadn't thought of that. 3 more and I'd have.. err... 4 of them.

Nah. It's f*** all to do with the sodding Olympics - that's what antidote means

Come on, you'll really dig this.

At the weekend, someone bust the 'andle on my shovel. So I decided to make a sectional one in aluminium. It needs some finishing and smoothing out, plus I have to fix it to the pan head, but yep. It's a shovel.

Said you'd dig it.

Lovely handle, shame about the shovel !

You know you're just showing off don't you..? ;)

It's looking pretty good now after some fine tooling!

Not sure a REAL engineer would be seen dead actually digging. Guess that makes me, errr, not exactly Isambard then.

Can't leave it on my truck now. Going to get pinched. It does look pretty tidy. Might have to spray it black to fool the magpies.
