Pictured is the power supply wire for the dash cam I've just bought. Instructions are to remove the 10 amp fuse from the cars fuse box and then replace it with the spaded wire then plug in the removed fuse. Is the following correct? The 10 amp feeds directly in to its original contacts thus protecting the original circuit. The 2 amp fuse would blow if it were using the same configuration so one spade must go to one side of the 10 amp fuse (both side of the fuse are + live with a good fuse) and the other supplies the camera. Now if the main fuse blows it will render the camera dead, or is that dependent upon which way round I plug the assy in to the cars fuse location. (I think it can go 180 deg round).
Negative feed just goes to frame.
Thanks
