Cheers, looking on the site they seem to come out at about £330 including shipping and then I might get stung for import duty, a lot more expensive then the ones offered in the states.

Prices are shown in dollars so $330 is just over 200 quid or thereabouts , i have been lucky and paid no import duty but we all know that's hit and miss .

I had to pay the equivalent of €140 in import tax.

That wasn't from USA to me Clive was it ? do you get hit again from UK to Romania ?

Definitely showing up as over £300, but a useful site for other stuff!!

Yep!

Still, I'm well pleased with the results Shayne, goodness knows what I would have had to pay for OEM units, and IMO, I have better beams than the OEMs would have ever given.

A well satisfied customer!

Bummer that though Helen reckons it was 33 quid duty to here and it never crossed my mind you would get stung again , nevermind though eh sometimes when we look at the result we realize we would have paid more and sooner with hindsight .

Yep, been in contact with Crazy The God!!! Think I'm just being tight, just don't like paying import duty, if I cant get them in the states think this will be my best choice.

Import duty is an inherent problem, unless you can find a local supplier/stockist.

Here in Romania, suppliers other than Mr T are relatively nonexistent, yet I think things are better in the UK. However, Australian and USA stocks will almost always suffer the import duty costs, to one degree or another.

I was lucky here that a supplier had a stock of US imported Nitro Gear CVs and driveshafts on one occasion, but they are rare occasions in my experience. Luck plays a big part.
