Hi all,

Thank you for welcoming me to the forum! I am from Adelaide in South Australia.

I own a 1985 FJ73 with the 3F engine.

I am currently investigating whether a 2h with a turbo is worth while, if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!
The fuel economy zaps the joy out of driving old girl... as does the sight of a hill!

Cheers

The input shaft course splines on your fj in this era are the same for a hj, so that's good news! Fine splines on the bj. The big tyres are a power sucker but who would drive it with the original size on it lol!

I don't know anything about the gear ratio's from petrol to diesel but am very sure the 2h/t would be more economical for you.

Welcome and hope you find the info helpfull.
