Hello Landcruiser club
Been a while since I have been on here.
I have a 2012 200series now (Have had plenty of others)
On the 79 series I had I had a SCAN gauge plugged into the OBDII port all the time I drove it to keep and eye on temperature and other things electronically.
I tried a wireless scanner on my 200, some lights and things came on, on the dash, didn't look normal. Unplugged it.
Dug out my old scan gauge form the 79, plugged it in, and checked for codes, it had a couple, which I showed to Toyota, but they said they were not valid.
Had the SCAN gauge plugged in, started the vehicle, and it ran like rough, like it wasn't happy.
Removed the SCAN gauge and no problems. (Also got Toyota to put it on the machine, they could not find a fault)
Not sure if anyone else has had issues like this, and if so did you work out ehat was going on.
