Hello guys, i am having what i believe is very rare problems with my 2006 Amazon 4.2TD auto VX.
I lent it to a friend one day to tow a heavy load, a very heavy load a very long distance whilst he had it he heated it, since then it has had a tapping noise from high up in the engine.
i thought it was just the tappets, found out today no such luck.
i need 5 new pistons, remarkably the block is fine, no re boring to do but i need 5 replacement pistons to get her on the road again. any suggestions where to go to get them without going to Toyota and remortgaging my home.
