97 land cruiser 3.0 Turbo diesel.
Lying up for a long time. Running fine but at high revs sounds like there is a little miss. Ticks over perfect and good power on driving. Anyone any ideas what could be the problem?

I've only bought it recently. Flew through the D.O.E.

Any advice appreciated, think I'll be a regular on this forum.

Thanks

So this is a prado not a 100 series.

Start with the usual checks - eg fuel filter, fuel filter drain oring (if it has one). Could also be pickup sock, stale fuel, sucking air from several potential spots. If generic diesel trouble shooting doesn’t do it post the Q in a vehicle specific spot
