Hello new to this forum so just thought I would pop in to say hello
always been a Defender man but am thinking about getting a LC to do longer trips oversea's, not to sure what I want at the moment bit of a toss up between a 80 series or a 90 D4D what would you guys recommend

Hi Dave and welcome.

Been a few posts like this one and there will be many different views on it. My opinion is a 80. Simple solid trucks that keep gpoing when maintained and there are tried and tested

Good to see you on here, I’m also on N44.
The 80 series makes a good overland truck, but finding a good 80 series at the right price is getting harder.
