I was really searching for an 8o series (is that a rude phrase in here lol) but I have seen a 90 series colorado vx which got me looking.

what should I look out for on them? its a 1999 diesel 3.0L I think.

I have seen a few where the rear axel mounts have broken off , is this a class fault?

Any horror stories on the rest of them?

It will be daily driver and light laner, suited?

front and rear lockers?

Mpg?

many thanks and sorry for my ignorance!

I have seen that one, looking at the amount of rust. I bet the rest of the underside is the same.

To fix it, it would be an axle swap.

There are a loot of good 90s out there for £4-5K.

scarily I have seen 3 like that, must be class fault-odd for toyota!

Hi Fett

Sorry for slow response here ref your quest for a 'Cruiser...

I have an 80 & a Colorado - Muxley is my 80 & Tonka is our Colorado/95 which is the family runaround.

I have taken the Colorado offroad once & was very impressed with it on BFG ATs. It only has centre & rear lockers out of the box.

Out of the two, the Collie is probably a better DD but Muxley is so non-standard its not a fair comparison now

How are you getting on with your search? Found anything yet?

Cheers

nah , it seems slim picking atm as people seem to want silly money for cars with mega miles. miles are fine with history but that seems even thinner on the ground than the cars
