I think between the my 90/the 120 there are quite a lot of common parts. The man up at Toyota said that the main difference is that the LC has a stronger chassis...

The 3.0 D4D in the later Mk6 Hilux is the same 1KD-FTV engine as fitted to late 90's and 120's for example, 90's and Mk3 Hilux Surfs share loads of parts.
Some 70's share engines with the Hilux of the same era and also the early 90's.
I'm sure they shared loads of other parts as well over the years.
