Hj60 engine number year

Hi can you help I wood like to no the year of a hj69 engine on a 2H engine the number is 1099334 thanks a lot tonytoyota .

Hi Tony,

According to toyodiy the engine is a European spec 2H from 1989.

Rodger, where is that ability to find engine numbers on Toyodiy?

I'd like to know what year my 3VZ-E is in my 4Runner, as Toyota weren't able to...

I don't know if it applies to later models but on early ones I had a feeling that engine and frame numbers were the same so I put in Tony's engine number and toyodiy told me which model 60 it was from and confirmed it was a 2H etc.

Seemed to work. How long that same number thing works for I don't know.

Mmm... that won't work with mine as the engine's been swapped (damn 3VZ-E's!) oh well...
