How do I change the headlight bulbs on my lj70?

This suggests H4 but do your own search for a standard replacement which should tell you for sure .

Hi Theo, my HZJ78 has H4's - probably your's too. Check this:
H4 = double beam
H1 = low beam only
H7 = high beam only

I've had my candle bulbs replaced with Angry Moose H4 LED Replacement G10 6000K, and it's an absolute improvement to modern streetworthiness. BUT I don't know whether they are street legal in your parts of the globe (they are not in my country, but no policeman in his right mind will complain, since they improve road safety; the beams are quite OK)
They have metal cooling 'fins' outside of the mirror compartment.

Right..thanks,I'm from Romania so they are pretty chill in my region,we all have modified 4x4's only the extreme ones with 40's have problems,as u said no policeman will complain if they improve my safety over this candle bulbs,one more question,what H do the position lights have?

Romania is not in the habit of sitting on every rule ;-)
Position lights are W5W T10. After some trial and error I've settled on Philips Ultinon Pro6000 W5W T10. Not the cheapest, but they are solid (other LEDs with the same form factor usually just break on the first speed bump) and give a good dispersed image (a lot of other LEDs are just visible from a very specific angle).
